From ring leader, T.J.’s pranks to Ashley’s ‘I-will-knock-you-out’ attitude, Vincent’s popularity to Gretchen’s incomparable talent, Mickey’s heart touching poems to timid Gus, all these things made Recess one of the most popular old cartoon network shows of all time.

We certainly loved Dee Dee, Dexter’s insanely stupid sister, more than Dexter right? The duo’s presence in a Dexter’s lab led to the hilarious turn of events in every damn episode. Dee Dee was also over excited and hyperactive in everything she did and this made super genius Dexter’s life a living hell!

Courage The Cowardly Dog:


This show was a weird favourite one! May it have been our first horror show right? Unlike his name, Courage was a genuinely coward dog who unexpectedly went to great lengths to protect his owners Eustace and Muriel. It had ghosts, aliens, zombies, mad scientists and what not!

A 90’s boy’s first inspiration to go for bodybuilding was Johny Bravo. The sexy blonde with weirdly large body in proportion to the legs was one hit playboy back then. The show also had many indirect adult dialogues which most of us did not get then! Johny Bravo was certainly 90’s boys’ favourite old cartoon network show.

Scooby-Doo was listed among best cartoon shows of all time and ‘A Pup Named Scooby Doo’ is another version of the show where Scooby’s adventures during his early days were shown. With all the character ‘babified’, it was one adorable version of the beloved Scooby Doo series.

The show was aired in 1992 and even though it had just 2 seasons, it had a huge fan following due to its different concept. The macabre look of the show brought a hint of terror into it and children loved it. Halloween costumes of the characters of the show became a huge hit at that time.

Two Vigilante cats, Chance “T-Bone” Furlong and Jake “Razor” Clawson, named Swat Kats became 90s kids favourite cartoon show. Though the show had just two seasons, its action packed sequences were fun to watch!

This animated TV series is one of the most popular cartoon network shows of all time. Made into several movies and several versions of the show, the green-faced saviour was a fan favourite. The movie version of the show had top stars like Jim Carrey and Cameron Diaz in it and won several awards too.

Though it was originally aired in the 1980s, its repeat shows in the 90s were super hit. Popeye would take spinach to get impeccable strength and beat the guts out of Bluto to save his girlfriend Olive Oyl or to stop him from doing harm to the society. it was one of the most popular comic strips as well as cartoon show in the 80s and 90s.
